(Make 2)
Row 1: With desired color yarn. ch 2, work 3 sc in 2nd ch from hook, ch 1, turn. (3 sc)
Row 2: Work 2 sc in each sc across, ch 1, turn. (6 sc)
Row 3: Sc in each sc across, ch 1, turn.
Row 4: Work 2 sc in first sc, sc in each sc to last sc, 2 sc in last sc, ch 1, turn. (8 sc)
Row 5: Sc in each sc across, ch 1, turn.
Row 6: Work 2 sc in first sc, sc in each sc to last sc, 2 sc in last sc, ch 1, turn. (10 sc)
Row 7: Sc in each sc across, ch 1, turn.
First Lobe
Row 8: Sc in next 5 sc, leave remaining sc unworked, ch 1, turn. (5 sc)
Row 9: Decrease 1 sc over next 2 sc, sc in next 3 sc, ch 1, turn. (4 sc)
Row 10: (Decrease 1 sc over next 2 sc) twice. Fasten off (2 sc)
Second Lobe
Row 8: Rejoin yarn in first unworked sc of row 7, ch 1, sc in same st as joining, sc in next 4 sc, ch 1, turn. (5 sc)
Row 9: Sc in next 3 sc, decrease 1 sc over last 2 sc, ch 1, turn. (4 sc)
Row 10: (Decrease 1 sc over next 2 sc) twice. Fasten off (2 sc)
Edging: Join yarn in the opposite side of starting ch, ch 1, work 3 sc in same st as joining, work 9 sc up side to row 10 of lobe, work 2 sc in each sc of lobe, work 2 sc down side of lobe then continue working on next lobe- 2 sc up side of lobe, 2 sc in each sc of row 10, 9 sc down side of heart, join in first sc. Fasten off.
Sew the 2 heart sections together until there is about a 2 inch opening left. Then stuff heart half way, add desired amount of catnip, then add more stuffing to finish filling before closing.
Weave in all loose ends.
